Every year I organize a class gift for my kids teachers at the end of school. I don't have the time or desire to coordinate this year. So what do other people who give individual gifts do? DO we need to spend more since it is just from us? Any advice is appreciated

Question: End of school gifts for teachers

Every year I organize a class gift for my kids teachers at the end of school. I don't have the time or desire to coordinate this year. So what do other people who give individual gifts do? DO we need to spend more since it is just from us? Any advice is appreciated

From a parent's perspective I think that you don't need to spend more or go overboard. I think teacher's appreciate a nice thank you note from the kids and the parents for their hard work. I am sure a $5 or $10 gift card to a book or office supply store or coffee place would be greatly appreciated. Let me see if I can get a teacher to weigh in.
