Have you talked to your child's teacher? Maybe there is something going on that you don't know about or maybe he just needs to go through an adjustment period. How old is he? If he is in the early grades, perhaps you could make a book with him about the things he likes and does not like about school. This way you can address what is bothering him and reinforce the thing he likes about school.
