We have a handy
homework checklist in our Print and Use section that you can print out. Send your child to school with this weekly homework checklist divided by subject; it has space to write each day’s assignments and to check them off when finished.

My son's school uses a "daily agenda". They write their homework / test and quiz dates / and projects in this daily agenda (a full week on 2 pages). As parents, we sign the agenda each night and make comments. I had to take it a step further and get each one of his teachers to initial it everyday, because my son would purposely not write things down in his agenda.
