We have a handy homework checklist in our Print and Use section that you can print out. Send your child to school with this weekly homework checklist divided by subject; it has space to write each day’s assignments and to check them off when finished.

My son's school uses a "daily agenda". They write their homework / test and quiz dates / and projects in this daily agenda (a full week on 2 pages). As parents, we sign the agenda each night and make comments. I had to take it a step further and get each one of his teachers to initial it everyday, because my son would purposely not write things down in his agenda.

My sons have a student planner, they are to write what homework needs to be done and what to remember to bring home and what they may need for school the next day. i look at it when they get home and when they are done with there homework, they are to check off what homework they have finished and then I sign the book that it is complete. everything goes into their backpack for the next day.
