My second grade granddaughter struggles with math all the time. She does'nt seem to comprhend any of her math except simple addition and substractions. She's studying boworring and carrying over, I going crazy with the examples of the units and the tens. What do you suggest?

Kids are taught math so differently than when we were kids. I would suggest talking to her teacher to express concerns and get some suggestions for ways to help her. Best of Luck!
