I feel like an idiot for not knowing this, but...my son has a hundreds chart and is being asked what 5 digits are in the ones place of even numbers and what 5 digits are in the ones place of odd numbers. I am TOTALLY confused!

Hi, Another way to word this question would be, what are the only 5 numbers that can be in the ones place of an even number and the only 5 numbers that can be in the ones place of an odd number? They are trying to get the kids to see the pattern. The only 5 numbers that will ever be at the end of an even number (or in the ones place) are 0,2,4,6, and 8. The only 5 numbers that will ever be at the end of an odd number are 1,3,5,7, and 9. Hope this helps! =)
