Question: Book report anxiety

Help! My dd (3rd grader) is working on a book report this weekend and it is always a battle. She has no probs with reading comprehension and typically with writing but something about writing a book report. Any suggestions on how I can help her?

3.Ask the teacher for help or some good ideas for the book report and maybe that can help i mean i am just an ordinary ten year old that loves school but maybe my answer can help....oh, and maybe for the next book report she should pick a book that she knows very well and her teacher agrees with.

I am a freshman in high school, from my experience doing book reports in my years, Ask her to reread the book by herself and then write a summary about that book that she read and then take some of that information and begin writing the report. I asked for an extension to finish my book report, maybe she should too.
