Last semester My daughter had a hard time with homework and used excuses not do it. We have been working closely with 7th grade daughter every night when she has homework this third semester. But the teachers are not willing to work with her anymore. They tell me and husband one thing, but do something completely different. Even caught the TEACHERS in lies. Now the threat of her repeating is looming over us and I feel strongly that it is not right. Help?!!!

Annie- Sorry to hear this - it sounds very upsetting. It's hard to advise without all the details. In general this is a good place to start: Have you and your husband had a team meeting with the teachers and a counselor? If you have and the outcome is what you mentioned above, then it sounds like you should set up a meeting with the principal to get to the bottom of their reasons for not working with your daughter. No child deserves to be given up on.
