I have a 3rd grader who seems to have a problem with focusing on her work. I questioned the teacher as well as the principle to get her tested for a learning disability. I have yet to hear anything back. Is there anything i can be doing at home to help my daughter in math and reading?

Misstati- That's great you spoke to her teacher about your concerns. Would suggest following up with an email to see if you can set up an meeting. There are lots of things you can do at home to help your child. The key is to keep it fun. Games are a great way to build skills and improve attention spans.
