My son is seven years old he is very good on math and his very smart but when it comes to read he just no read he said to me the he dont like to read and he reads only if im next to him or if teacher help this is getting very difficul to me and teacher at school, he goes to a private school and they ask me to seek for help on publics school for a test, please need some advises

I advise you to read to him every night, get him those books that reads the stories by itself so he can read along, or put him in a special reading class. If you don't want to do that, just try the other ideas.

maybe he's not interested in what he his being given to read, find out what he is interested in; cars, wolves, snakes... find him books, magazines and non-fiction articles on the internet to enjoy. Ask him what he learned from what he read and what else he would like to know and find more for him to read
