Parent Involvement and Video Games and School

Posted by: Tim Sullivan on Dec 02, 2008 in Parent Involvement

Bio
Short story from the Washington Post on video games and kids, but the fundamental truth lies in two simple sentences:
It called for parents to know what and how much their kids are playing. Too much gaming or too much video-game violence can lead to problems in school, the study found.

Yup -- parent involvement matters here, too.

Wow I really like this site. It is so colorful and I know I will find the materials very useful for homeschool.Do you have Anything for the book Treasre Island (by Stevenson)? My 6th grader is reading it.

I totally agree that to much t.v. and video games makes our kids more aggressive and less academic motivated. I have a 10 year old that is only allowed to play video games on the weekend and watch t.v. for no more than an hour a day.
