they are never home....and always tired at school. I would allow only one major activity

I am a parent of 3 grown children (21-23-24) and we allowed them 1 major activity of their choice....ex. cheerleading, theatre, golf I think they appreciated not having such a busy life like alot of my Jr. High students (I'm also a teacher) have!! They are NEVER

I don't feel pressure yet to have my daughter in lots of activities, but I can feel it coming. Even the working moms I know have their kids doing two or three activities. We only do one. I just don't want to devote my Saturdays to running around. Would rather sleep in and have a relaxing morning. Not judging, just can't imagine committing my free time to driving and waiting . . .
