Young kids will love banging on a drum or shaking maracas. If your child is ready for music lessons, consider an electronic keyboard, guitar, or other similar instrument. Music teaches kids about a lot more than rhythm and notes; the self-discipline and thinking skills needed to play instruments helps children become better students.
