Ingredients

  • 4 arrowroot cookies (made with arrowroot flour)
  • 28 semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Place 7 chocolate chips on each arrowroot cookie and place cookie in a microwave oven.

  2. Cook on medium power for 7-15 seconds, or just until the chocolate melts. Do not cook any longer once the chocolate has melted. (Note: each microwave is different so you'll need to test yours to find the correct cooking time.)
  3. Remove from microwave, let cool for 1 minute, and serve.

Picky Eater?

Try These Tips From The Meal Makeover Moms

When my children were younger, we played the “Three Pennies Game” at dinnertime. Each of us got three pennies, and the object was to get rid of your pennies before the meal was over.
Each person had to give three compliments, after eating one bite, one for each penny. So, everyone tried at least three bites of the meal and said something nice, too—that meant talking at the dinner table! And at the end of the meal, the family could do a thumbs-up or thumbs-down which meant "make it again" or "no, thank you." —Kelly, mother of Julia, age 12 and Claudette, age 15
