Pumpkin Cream Cheese with Bagels

This is a terrific recipe for any day of the year, but is especially well-suited to Halloween! Start the day off right with a festive breakfast of bagels, pumpkin cream cheese, and fresh apples. This recipe also makes a wholesome afterschool snack, and also makes a healthy treat for a Halloween party at your child’s school.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese with Bagels

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • bagels (as many as you need)

Directions

  1. Beat first four ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Toast the bagels, and then spread the cream cheese mixture on each one.
  3. If desired, add fresh apple slices.
