Topping the list is punctuality. Arriving at work on time is important. Here are ways your teen can become aware of the clock now:
• Have your child guess how long it takes her to get up in the morning. How long does she spend washing, dressing and eating? Write down her guesses.
• The next morning, help her time these activities. Compare the real time with the guesses. Your teen will be able to see whether her morning routine is too rushed, too slow or just right. She can then adjust her alarm clock, if necessary, and get to school on time
