Choose a category—say, animals. One person names a type of animal—for example, “toad.” The next person has to think of an animal that starts with the last letter of that word. So the next player might say “dog.” The next player could respond with “goat,” and so on.
Other categories might include geography, foods, or plants. As your child gets older, make the categories more difficult—instead of geography, choose state names, country names, rivers, sports stars, popular singers, explorers, or inventors, for example.
