Maybe it’s time to let your child be bored, at least once in awhile. A little boredom can actually encourage kids to be creative. With time on his hands, your child may build a fort from a blanket and chairs. He may draw with crayons and paints. He might even read a book.
Too much boredom, like too much of anything, can be bad for children. But if both you and your child never have a minute just to sit, perhaps some boredom would be good for both of you.
