A calendar is a great way to motivate her child’s good behavior.
Every time your kids do something positive, let them draw a mark on a large calendar. Assign two marks for any good deed done without any parental nagging.
At the bottom of the calendar, make a key with rewards. For example, 50 marks could earn a trip to the park. 75 might mean a movie rental.
At the end of a good week, looks for other ways to motivate your child. You might say, “Since the calendar has so many marks, you may have a friend over on Friday night.” These rewards should be things “your child likes to do that don’t cost money.”
