They do whatever it takes to get good grades.
One reason is that cheating has become more acceptable in our culture. Kids see parents and other adults cheat on income taxes and even on their mates.
If your child thinks cheating is “no big deal,” have him think again.
Cheating is really lying. And no one in our culture wants to be called a liar.
Take time to talk to your child. Explain that handing in work he copied from someone else is really a lie. He is misrepresenting the work as being his own. It’s dishonest.
For your child to acknowledge cheating is a problem, he must first feel it’s truly wrong.
