Question: How do I get my 13 year old to take school more seriously?

Hello I need to know jow to help peak my 13 year old son's interest in school. He seems to have a lot of missing assignments. I have to constantly remind him about things. this is his first year @ junior high school. He did not seem to hvae this problen last year in middle school. I really nfeed help. He has a french class and is doing very I do not wnat to fuss with him anymore. It does not seem to be doing any good.

I am having the same issue... all he ever says is I KNOW... or STOP I KNOW what I have to do... OMG I am at wits end! He sees me struggling financially to send him to a private school, making mortgage payments & stuff... & I tell him I don't ant him to have to live like this for his family & education is the key to a cush job to make big bucks...but educations is KEY!!!! he knows this... he's even told ME...but he's just so lazy about EVERUTHING! his teachers tell him it's the age & grade... IDC WHY...I want the solution LOL
