Lisa @ School Family writes: Does her middle school have a drama group or chorus? How about a school newspaper or yearbook? It's nice to find at least one activity that your kids are involved in at school so they have a connection with their classmates.Outside of school, horseback riding (though very pricey) is a great confidence builder for girls. At this age, the key is to find something that matches her interests and passions, rather than something that mom and dad think she should do.
