Question: math struggles

My daughter hates math and immediately shuts down when it's time for homework. She doesn't seem to absorb the information, or focus. Need ideas for making math fun, especially fractions. She is in the 4th grade. Thanks

I agree with Alexlove...There are several good computer math games websites if you have access to a computer. You can also go online at your local library. Coolmathgames.com is a great site, and Brainpop.com, Brainpopjr.com are also good. Search a little. If the websites don't work (that's a big "if", since most kids love this!), maybe try a high school student tutor. It might be easier for her to relate to another kid. Good luck.
