Hot Dog and Spaghetti Creatures

Young children can help cut up the hot dogs, break the dry spaghetti sticks in half, and make the creatures. And then they can eat them!

  • hotdogs (1 per person)
  • dry spaghetti sticks, for breaking in half
  • Optional: Try different pasta shapes, such as egg noodles or curly pasta (don't break curly pasta in half)
  • Directions

    1. Cut the hot dogs into small pieces.

    2. Break the dry spaghetti sticks by bending them in half, or use curly pasta.
    3. Poke the spaghetti sticks through the hot dogs, making "arms" and "legs" to make creatures.
    4. In billing water, cook the hot dog/spaghetti creatures  for 6-8 minutes.
    5. Remove, let cool, and then eat!

      Wow! I am going to make these for my family as soon as I get a chance! I'm only 10! That is how easy it seems!
