Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

My boys love helping with this easy cookie recipe. They especially love unwrapping the "Kisses" and putting them on top, one cookie at a time. They also enjoy putting the cookies into their mouths, not necessarily one at a time! 

Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

  • 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 1 bag candy treats (such as Hershey's Kisses)
  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
    2. In large bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Add baking mix (Bisquick) and mix well.
    3. Shape chilled dough into 1" balls and place on un-greased baking sheet, 2" apart.

    4. Bake 6-8 minutes until lightly browned. Remove baking sheet from oven and immediately press one candy into the center of each cookie.
    5. Transfer the cookies from the baking sheets to a wire rack. Cool to allow chocolate to harden.
