Trail Mix

When stored airtight, this Trail Mix lasts for week. It can be made without peanuts and/or tree nuts for those with food allergies.

  • Dry snacks: low-sugar cereal (under 5 grams per serving); small pretzels; and pieces of graham crackers, rice cakes or animal crackers
  • Dried fruits: cherries, apricots, raisins, mangoes or coconut flakes (cut up big pieces of dried fruit using kitchen shears)
  • Nuts and seeds: sliced almonds, pecan pieces, cashew pieces, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds or peanut pieces. Note: For peanut and/or tree-nut allergies, omit the tree-nuts and/or peanuts nuts.
  • Directions

    1. In an airtight container, combine all ingredients and toss gently to mix.
    2. Store airtight for up to one week.
