Not all summer learning needs to be strictly academic; trying a new activity or practicing a new skill has benefits, too! Challenge your kids to pick a project, sport, or other activity they haven’t tried before and work on it all summer. For example, they could volunteer at an animal shelter, learn to play guitar, or make a working model volcano.
