kspin67- Are you thinking of pulling your child out of school mid year? If so, you would need to check with the state home school organization because different states have different laws when it comes to taking your child out of the public school system mid year. I am home schooling 2 grand children. You first look for a charter school in your area, then just notify the school you will be home schooling, or start with a charter school at the beginning of the school year, and notify your school that you have done so.

In my own opinion, Homeschooling is a very special type of education, it needs more devotion and dedication. For almost 2 years now I am homeschooling my Primary 4. And at times it is so struggling. It's not that easy because the mother will be the First teacher and educator at home with the support of the Father.
