What do you do when your 8yr olds good freind calls him names pushs him around on the soccer feild.His parents are aware of what happens but just ignore the problem.I have tried to get my son to not play and ignor this child but he insist they are good freinds and everything is ok.

You are right to have concerns. Have a conversation about what makes a good friend. Maybe make a list of what you both come up with for good friend traits. Then, compare that list to traits of this other little boy. Beyond that, encourage other friendships and come up with other suggestions for play dates if he asks to have him over.
