Review is to the brain like lifting weights is to a muscle. The more you lift, the bigger the muscle. Here are a few steps to recommend to your child:
Review your notes after each class.
Review all you’ve learned at the end of each day.
At least one week before a test, review all related notes, homework and textbook.
Review the same material right before the test.
It’s also a good idea to review old tests. When your child gets a test back, he should correct the wrong answers. Then use the corrected test as a study tool.
